Delayed Anniversary Dinner & Movie

Made reservations at the fondue restaurant for Saturday at 4. The Old Man went to work and got home in time to change cloths and head out. We got there a bit early and looked at used cars in the dealership next to the restaurant. Hey, at least I have him looking for a back up car!
The Old Man did enjoy the four course dinner. The first course was veggies and bread with a cheddar cheese. Didn't care for the veggies, but liked the bread a whole bunch. Salad had a raspberry black walnut vinaigrette dressing which we both loved. Main broth fondue with beef, shrimp, salmon, chicken and more beef was just the right size for two. We did go for the chocolate dessert, which was a great finish! Thank you kids for the gift! Think the Old Man may put the restaurant on his list of places to go!!
Then off to the movies! Got there early and we people watched for more than a half hour. Since we were full from dinner, no popcorn was purchased (all in his grand plan!) The Old Man actually stayed awake during the whole movie!
All in all was a great date night! Perhaps The Old Man might want to do it again???
