Where Do Strawberries Grow?

I stopped a policeman to ask about a Deer crossing sign (the doe eats the crab apples then goes across the street). And as I said "She eats the crab apples and then goes over there (( I pointed at the crab apple tree)...Blah blah blah.. we have speeders and I am afraid someone is going to hit her... blah blah"

I asked about a "seasonal" sign, as we don't need to mow around another sign. He said he would ask the street department.

Just before driving off.. the policeman asked... pointing at the crab apple tree... are those strawberries?
