Part Three

Family. Well I just have to brag.
Before our trip up north, I called my Brother-in-law to tell him we would be in the area, although we would be destructing and constructing on the to be Quilt Shop. This meant that we would most probably not be traveling around to visit, as this was a work weekend.

How wonderful it was to have The Brother-in-law come over and help!! Not only one day, but TWO days! Two days of a not so pleasant job!

Car parts. While up north on this work weekend, I had the opportunity to drive The Old Man's car. It was pretty scary to tap the brakes and the pedal goes to the floor! Kind of like when The Old Man has me help bleed the brakes. One learns to go slow and start braking three blocks before you get to that stop sign.
It was a rusted out brake line, that is a dealer item, which meant it wasn't a quick fix. Hoping they have a part in stock! How long will it take to replace??

Travel goodie bag. When traveling, The Old Man doesn't like to stop (to eat or a potty stop), so we take a goodie bag. Peanuts, candy bars and some kind of snack mix are in the bag. Taking this bag to the work weekend also came in handy for those work breaks.
