And Another Friday

Daughter #3 borrowed my car. Yes, she brought the car back, but not the keys. She stopped by last night to bring the keys back and have The Old Man take a test drive of her car. The car now has 250,000+ miles on it. She can't afford a new car and The Old Man will just NOT let go of the car.

The Old man says the van is good to go. So, after a year of working on the transmission, putting in a new transmission, a MAP sensor, new fuel pump and two injectors, I can put it back on the insurance? He wants me to drive the van while he works on my car. My car is driving like a truck, needing shocks and struts.

Don't have Shorty today, and The Little Dog can't understand why. The Little Dog is sitting by the window waiting.

Had a great conversation with the Favorite Brother-in-law and fantastic nephew! Isn't it great to know we have family out there that understands the ups and downs!

We could have a mini reunion at Easter! Wouldn't that be wonderful!

Well, have another Lent dinner tonight at church. They have me setting up and breaking down the tables and working the dessert table. Now, I don't really care how many pieces of dessert people get, but when we run out, that is a problem. You wouldn't believe how many folks try getting a second or third piece. And then everyone wants that special piece of pie that The Great Baker makes. Hate to tell them that she isn't making anything this year. Perhaps I will make a sign, then I won't have to say anything,, just point to the sign!
