Mini Vacation ?

Well, The Old Man went to Northern Indiana to 1) attend a family event 2) to help clean up "the Other House" 3) install a cedar closet for his brother. The short people went to Virginia Beach with their parents, BUT left their dog with me.

So far, during this mini vacation I have been working in the basement, learning to scan documents ( not once but twice... when will it become easier?), putting the dog out, gone to the recycling place, used my Chinese food gift card, bringing in the dog, attended the Older Group "Meet the New Pastor and his family" ( made baklava and it was a hit), chased off a deer (twice), put out the dog, watched a few tv programs, brought the dog in and talked with Almost Dorothy about the Older Group fellowship ( and the fact that "Miss Hospitality didn't come).

Yes, Almost Dorothy and her husband are now coming back to church after several months of not attending. It is wonderful to see them again. Well, we do see them at Boys Choir practice on Tuesday mornings at the McDonalds.
