A Traditional Thanksgiving Free Meal

Just got back from setting up, serving and a touch of cleaning up after the church free Thanksgiving dinner for the "poor and homeless."

Now what comes to your mind when you hear Thanksgiving dinner?? Turkey, stuffing, smashed potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin pie?

So, why did so many people ask what kind of pie was being served? And why did so many people ask if there were dessert options?

I don't understand!
