Weekend Update

The Old Man better not retire anytime soon. Remember the bathroom exhaust fan he received as a Christmas gift? Well, it is within 20 feet of the bathroom, but not installed yet. I think home improvement stores should have a 6 months return policy. If the project isn't completed within 6 months, we should get our money back. Then again, the fan is sitting there and ready when ever he is ready to install it.

I started a pressing project (a flower girl dress). The Old Man brought in a basket full of beans, which had to be rinsed, snapped and put into containers. The the cats wanted in and out, the Little Dog had to go in and out, Daughter #3 came home, the phone was going crazy and we had Shorty's birthday party to go to.

One phone call was from the Flying Cousin. He is a new Grandfather and wanted to share the news. During the call, he apologized for the last conversation, and that was greatly appreciated.
