Busy Busy

What else can I say!

After she and the Great Brother-in-law left, it was on to getting ready for vacation.

Left for Alabama on Friday afternoon, and had great weather on the drive down. When we arrived, John gave The Old Man a project. Actually, John was only asking for plans for a Tree House. The Old Man couldn't just leave the plans on paper, that would not be his way. After breakfast on Saturday, a local guy came out with a little bob cat and graded the ground where the tree house was going up. Measurements were taken and the digging of post holes started. To make a long story short, by Tuesday afternoon the posts, beams and floor joists were all there. Lots of measurements were taken along the way, and after lots of pulling and tugging, it turns out to be only 1/8th inch out of square. Not bad! Yes I took pictures !!

Got home to an uncomfortable situation. The Old Dog is not well, not well at all.
