Cold Days and Projects

Cold Days, well it is winter. We seem to spend a lot of time in one room, where the heat is. The Old man has been seen with a cover while sitting in his chair.

The Old Man finished the stairs at Daughter #1. He hopes to be finished with the Daughter #3's car today. Te car's computer was not working, and he purchased a new one which is getting uploaded this morning.

Other News: Almost Dorothy and her husband have sent a letter to the church asking to be put on the Inactive List. Several reasons, but mainly they are not being inspired nor uplifted be the sermons. The icing on the cake: her husband was to be the new Finance Chair, yet the old chair was NOT willing to give up any power/duties nor paperwork. I reminded Almost Dorothy the old Finance chair hadn't been on Trustees for 10 years, yet refuses to give up important keys.
Several people have called them to find out details (I keep in touch on almost a daily basis). Seems there are others having the same problems with sermons (and other things) but are doing the waiting game (waiting for pastor rotation).

This evening is the first of the year (yes, 30+ days late) Ad Council and Finance meetings. This may be a make or break meeting.
